Paynes Heating & Plumbing is a heating, plumbing and solar firm based at Blackboys, near Uckfield, in East Sussex. Air conditioning is one service among several. The company was incorporated in April 1990, and the site calls it family-run and founded in 1990, so it has traded for 36 years.
For air conditioning it covers domestic and commercial properties, with "air to air" systems for heating and cooling at home. It also lists inspection and repairs, refrigerant vacuuming and gas charging, and preventative maintenance agreements. The site names Bosch, Daikin and Mitsubishi as brands but no approval level. Brighton is named in its coverage list, alongside Lewes, Haywards Heath, Tunbridge Wells and Uckfield. Hove isn't named.
F-gas: verified on the REFCOM register as Paynes Heating and Plumbing Services Limited, TN22 5JL, Uckfield. It isn't on the Quidos register. The site also says its heating professionals are F-Gas qualified.
Company: company number 02489842, active, confirmation statement filed in March 2026.
MCS: the site says its engineers are MCS accredited. We couldn't check the MCS finder, so this is claimed only. No manufacturer approval is claimed.
No prices published. Ask for a written quote including the units, installation, commissioning and VAT. The site says it provides warranty registration and documentation for a new system, but gives no warranty length.
