What they do
S. Mercer Plumbing is an Eastbourne plumbing and heating business, at Wilton Avenue, that also installs and services air conditioning. It has a dedicated Brighton page saying it serves homeowners and businesses across the South East, plus area pages for Lewes, Seaford, Hailsham, Hastings and Bexhill. Hove isn't named.
It specialises in mini split units and says it also fits multi-split systems. It does domestic and commercial work and routine servicing. Free surveys and quotations are offered, by quote form or phone. The site says most home installations can be completed within a day, though larger systems may take longer. It also says it never charges a call-out fee in Eastbourne; the site doesn't say whether that applies in Brighton.
The business is a sole trader, so there is no Companies House record, and the site gives no start year.
Credentials
F-gas: verified on the Quidos register as S Mercer Plumbing, Hampden Park, Eastbourne. The site says it is fully F-Gas registered and Gas Safe.
MCS: the site says "We are an MCS certified installer", with no certificate number. We couldn't check the MCS register. It also shows a Which? Trusted Trader endorsement. No manufacturer approvals are claimed, and no company number applies.
Prices and warranty
No prices published; ask for a written quote including the unit, installation and VAT. No warranty terms are published.
