What they do

PDP Services is based in Burgess Hill and says it has engineers available in Brighton, Hove, Shoreham, Portslade, Worthing and other nearby areas. Air conditioning sits beside solar, electrical, plumbing, heating and gas work. The company was incorporated in December 2003, and the site says it was established in 2000.

It installs what it calls air to air heat pump air conditioning for domestic and commercial customers, from a single-room split system to larger multi-zone setups. It also services and repairs systems, and offers refrigeration services for businesses. The site publishes no air conditioning brands, prices or warranty terms, and shows no air conditioning photos beyond a product banner. It opens Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.

Credentials

F-gas: verified on the REFCOM register as PDP Services Ltd, RH15 9TY, and also listed on the Quidos register. The site says all refrigerant handling is done by F-gas qualified staff.

Company: PDP Services Limited, number 05000105, active, 22 years since incorporation. The record's Companies House SIC code is for electrical installation.

MCS: the site says it is an MCS Certified Installer; we couldn't check the MCS finder. It also says it is NICEIC Approved and Gas Safe registered. Mitsubishi Electric's finder lists it as Accredited for heating, not air conditioning, and the site doesn't claim it.

Prices and warranty

No air conditioning prices or warranty terms are published. Ask for a written quote including units, installation, commissioning and VAT, plus the warranty length on both parts and labour.
