What they do

HJM Air Conditioning Ltd is registered in Heathfield, East Sussex, and its website publishes no address, so the Heathfield registered office is the only base we have. Companies House shows it was incorporated on 11 June 2024. The site says "Over 10 Years of Experience", which the record treats as the owner's industry experience rather than the company's age.

It lists split systems, multi-split systems, ducted systems, and cassette and under-ceiling systems. Services include maintenance plans, repairs and an emergency call-out. It says it serves commercial and domestic clients, and names homeowners in Eastbourne, Brighton, Lewes, Hastings and across Sussex.

Coverage named is Eastbourne, Brighton, Hastings, Lewes, Hailsham, Heathfield and surrounding areas. Hove isn't mentioned by name. The site's text names no brands, though photo captions mention Panasonic and Midea outdoor units.

Credentials

F-gas: verified on the REFCOM register ("HJM Air Conditioning", Heathfield, F-Gas tick; no certificate number shown). The site says all its engineers hold F-gas certification and have completed apprenticeships in refrigeration and air conditioning.

The company is active at Companies House (number 15772848). No MCS number, TrustMark membership or manufacturer approval is claimed.

Prices and warranty

No prices published; ask for a written quote including the unit, installation, pipework and commissioning, and whether VAT is included. The site states the installation warranty is one year from the completion date, and water leaks are not covered.

Good to know

  • The company dates from June 2024; the over 10 years claim relates to the owner's experience.
  • Based outside Brighton and Hove, in Heathfield; it names Brighton but not Hove.
  • No address is published on the site.
  • The testimonial is from a Heathfield business, so there is no Brighton or Hove example on the site.
  • Ask which brands it will quote for; photo captions mention Panasonic and Midea.
